ADOPTION PROCEDURES
1.
Visit
our cats and kittens in the adoption room.
You can also see photos of adoptable felines
by
clicking
here.
2.
Fill
out an adoption application, available at the front desk or download and print
by
clicking
here.
3.
Give
the completed application to a receptionist.
It will be given to an Adoption Coordinator and will be processed within
24-72 hours. There are no “same day”
adoptions: we need time to make our decision, and we also want you to be
positive about your choice. Bringing a
new cat home is an enormous, long-term responsibility.
FEES
·
The
adoption fee includes an FIV/FELV test, a fecal test and de-wormer, microchip
identification, food and complete medical care until the day of adoption, and
at least initial vaccines. The
completeness of any cat’s vaccine series depends on the amount of time they
have been in the program. Many adults
are current on all vaccines for a year at the time of adoption.
$110:
Sterilized Cats.
$110:
Non-sterilized cats or kittens.
Note:
A $20
sterilization deposit is required and included in the total cost. This money will be applied towards
sterilization surgery at our Clinic. It
can also be refunded to you in the form of a check if proof of sterilization is
brought to the Clinic within the timeframe indicated on the sterilization
agreement.
$190:
Two cats or kittens.
There is a
multiple cat adoption discount—they are happier with friends!
